Blogwithoutalibrary s'intéresse à l'utilisation des blogs par les documentalistes. Sa créatrice Amanda Etches-Johnson explique:
I started this blog as a way to force myself to stay on top of the developments in institutional blogging, and to provide an access point to anyone else who is interested in what libraries are doing and can do with blogs (hence the tagline).
